We did a little photo shoot with our nephew Milo this weekend. He's almost 18 months, and his favorite things are Jeeps (specifically red ones), busses, and cheese. He can say "abacus," "dinosaur," and he just started counting to three.
One of his least favorite things (we learned) is a photo shoot. Audrey and I were there (Audruuuu and Meemee), both his Oma and his Gigi were there, our dear friend Jane was there, and his Great Aunt Sue was there. We ALL tried to make this shoot like, the most fun thing ever, and he was just. not. into. it.
Finally, Audrey dropped one of his plastic dinosaurs into the watering can, rattled it around a whole bunch, told him to save it, and we were able to get a few good shots. We also told him there were gross bugs in the lettuce, and he was pretty intrigued about that.
Notice the sugar cookie bribe.
With Audruuu
What's with this weird grey wall?
Gross bugs? In there? Really?
Let me give them some dinosaur water.
All in all, it turned out to be a great shoot. Even though there were no gross bugs, there were still lots of cookies, so everyone was happy!
